課程概述

本課程除特別對發展中及第三世界國家的科技發展進行探討外，也關注若干已開發國家如何透過雙邊及多邊的國際科技計畫，而與前兩種國家建立合作、交換、甚至是支配與控制的關係，甚至鞏固這些國家當中既得權力或利益者的政治力量，進而出現種種糾結的國內外政經結構。此外，本課程亦介紹先進國家的科技發展策略，特別是在核能科技上，並以此觀察東亞國家及台灣的情形。

課程目標

熟悉國家發展理論與科技發展之關係，培養學生觀察及認識國際科技發展計畫的多樣視角，進而幫助學生建立國際性、多樣性及跨領域性地分析及研究能力。更進一步地，本課程應有助學生未來多元地探索台灣與其他國家的科技關係，而不只是科技與經濟發展的面向，多元檢視台灣種種不同的國際科技位置。

3.	至少有1週引導課堂討論	15%	不是報告，而是要引起對話、討論、鎖定主題、設計活動、引發問題等等。
4.	1 篇期末報告	40%	第6週前要提出報告題目，第11週前要完成書目，第15週前至少要寫作1萬字（不包含書目）。
